Please Can I use one year field data with 3 location data  for journal publication.

                it is impossible to answer your question with so little information on what data you have. Maybe you have just measured the rainfall. Maybe you have done a complete survey of the insect and plant populations at each site... It is quite possible that you have enough to publish.

The other side of the equation is that it depends where you want to pubiish. The data needed for a note in a regional journal is much lower than what is needed for a full paper in a major international journal.

Finally, the amount of data is not the only criterion.
- One of my sayings is: "It's better to have a little high quality data than a lot of poor quality data".
- Data is one thing, what you make of it is another. Does it test a scientific hypothesis? Does it demonstrate an idea that has already been shown in a different context?
