Hi Alehegn,

I suspect this is a poor quality of 'predatory' journal based on the following:

1). Fees. It states that there is a fee to publish, but I can't find a clear indication of the fee on their website. Transparency and clarity are important.

2). Indexing. Because this journal is charging a fee to publish I would expect the journal to be indexed in DOAJ (and if the fee is expensive, some other important indexes such as Scopus or Web of Science). On their webpage (https://www.ijcaonline.org/indexing-) they claim to be listed in DOAJ, but I did a search in www.doaj.org and they are not listed.

Based on this information, I would not consider this journal as reputable, and nobody should be paying a fee to publish in this journal.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Andy

Thank you very much Andy for your response.

But the papers that has been published in this journal are assessible in Google scholar gateway. I was thinking that it is reputable. Becuase it states that the journal is indexed in Google scholar and the published papers are accessible in Google scholar gateway.

Thanks

Hi Andy,

My staffs asked me to check this journal whether it is predatory or reputabel.

TIJ's Research Journal of Science & IT Management - RJSITM (https://www.theinternationaljournal.org/ojs/index.php?journal=rjitsm)

Would you please recommend us?

Thank you
